A few of my favourite areas to walk about in Buenos Aires are the barrios of Constitucion, Dorrego, San Telmo. It is amazing how an old museum can reveal itself any moment and led you to discover anything from an old pen used by Gr. San Martin to underground schematics of a city under siege. By walking around you discover that with all sorts of amazing history Buenos Aires holds proud its heritage.

The May Revolution (Spanish: Revolución de Mayo) was a week-long series of revolutionary events that took place from May 18 to 25, 1810, in Buenos Aires, capital of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, a colony of the Spanish Crown, which contained the present-day nations of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay.
