Friend's Day at the Argentinean Embassy in Wellington

Recently the NZ Consulate held a celebration that latinos from most of South America will be familiar with. Dia Del Amigo. For Kiwis who have travelled to South America or made friends with South Americans they likely will have received lots of electronic hugs and possibly the odd annoying chain mail.

La Pachamama supported the event supplying Rosamonte and Kraus Organic to the guests. Check out their Facebook album for some pics of the night and a taste of tango.

La Pachamama also work with the Australian Embassy and for the second time La Pachamama will be promoting the Kraus Organic brand at the Australian Organics Trade Show. Check out our picks from the last show held in Melbourne.

Events coming up
Last month La Pachamama attended the Green Living show and now we have the Auckland Food Show. We've got a great new product to share (the Mate Latte) and we think you'll love the flavour (I like mine with whole milk and cinnamon).
Our stall will be near to where we have traditionally gone (in the artisanal section) and we are looking forward this year to taking some time out to enjoy some of the presentations.

A Winner of yummy yerba mate

We are lucky this month to have Milton Kraus, owner of the Kraus Organic brand in New Zealand visiting our shores. Milton is keen to meet some of the yerba mate aficionados that have recently taken up this very nutricious and delicious pastime. He also has some great stories to tell about his fair trade initiatives and some exciting new products that he is developing. More to come on that in another post.
